The Faculty of Health Sciences offers bachelor degree studies in Nursing, Social Education and Pharmacy. In addition, the faculty offers a master degree program in Interdisciplinary Health- and Social Studies. The research and development is conducted in close cooperation with practice field activities and it supports the department programs and the vocational professions.Foreign students who want to study at Nord Trondelag University College need to document their proficiency in Norwegian language. In order to improve the quality of the education, the faculty aims to increase the cooperation with institutions in other countries and to facilitate the exchange of students and staff. The Faculty aims to be part of international networks of education, research and innovation. As a result, the faculty collaborates with about 20 international institutions in Europe, USA and Africa. The college participates in student and staff exchange programs such as Erasmus program, Leondardo da Vinci program, NORDSAM and NORDHELSE.

The Faculty of Health Sciences welcomes exchange students from abroad, and offers students to attend 2 weeks course in Global Health and Culture Competence and clinical internship programs in Medical- and Surgical departments, psychiatry, nursing homes and home based nursing care practice.
