The main areas of study at Nord-Trøndelag University College are education, health care, environmental studies, social sciences and information technology.

Nord-Trøndelag University College co-operates with a range of overseas educational institutions. The co-operation includes student exchanges and further study in overseas universities after completion of studies at our college.

Nord-Trøndelag University College, Faculty of Teacher Education is situated in Levanger , 80 km north of Trondheim in Mid-Norway. The Faculty is beautifully located on a campus close to the town centre on the shores of the Trondheim fjord (see photo above).
An important objective of our Faculty is to enhance its cooperation with higher education institutions abroad. The teacher training students of our faculty have the opportunity to have one of their compulsory practice periods at one of our partner schools abroad. We have partner schools in Latvia, Austria, Slovenia, Estonia, North Cyprus and Northern Ireland.
